Growing up on the beautiful, isolated island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, Rosa’s influences are shaped by the natural world:

“From early on I was fascinated by sea foam on the sand, rain glistening on granite or the cracked and crazed bed of a dried up summer stream.”

Rosa trained as a fashion designer and then discovered ceramics six years ago - she has been obsessed by its possibilities ever since.

“The interaction of clay, oxides and glaze fascinates me and I have used every spare moment to explore this. I think nature is extraordinary and seek to capture its beauty in my work.

I try to create unique works of art which draw you in to explore shapes, texture and colours. Above all I seek to communicate my passion for the medium and the landscape that has inspired me.”
