Kate Burns trained at Bath Spa University in Ceramics and then Central St Martins.  After working for several years as a designer and art director she has recently returned to full time painting.  

Her subtle abstracts and her handling of the paint set her apart from many contemporary abstract painters and her strong drawing skills anchor the work beautifully.   The last year has seen her exhibit at several UK Art Fairs and her work is already in many private collections.
