Fiona has travelled extensively and is fascinated by the power and majesty of the physical world about us.

‘My work is inspired by mountains and valleys, erosion and craters- and the inconceivable force and time required in their formation.

In my new series, Be more mountain, I am exploring slowing down to earth time. The formation of mountains, valleys, rock strata … all take millions and billions of years - with an amazing amount of power and strength - and incredible results

Beside them, we tiny little humans scream and shout and fret and scurry and argue and stress and worry … Be more mountain.’
